Yeah i strugged on a 3090ti (i have a stupid 49in ultrawide). But what was interesting, changing the settings and resolution made little difference. Just a poor port.
But tbh I found the 75% of the demo being cutscenes harder to get through than the performance (but im not a FF guy).

Not really strange at all, with years of cross gen games planned (regardless of "we believe in generations") they wouldnt want a much cheaper PS4 Pro cannibalising PS5 sales.
They'll likely do the same when PS6 is annouced.

All that aside, maybe its me getting older but this has been without doubt the least memorable generation, between the cross generation games, chasing fads, growing development costs resulting in less new IP and less risks, meh, and Id be surprised if next gen isnt more of the same.

But for those collectors who do buy them I hope they burn the likely pallets of physcial copies sat in some warehouse and for those guys working in game shops i hope you manage to steal as many copies as possible and make a few bucks.
Take a year old mid-high end PC (AMD) components. buy in big bulk (good value for us), lock the hardware down, massively overhype one detail, increase the game prices and you have your next gen console.
